CWI must verify that students have met academic engagement before census to confirm that students are active in their courses and eligible for financial aid. Academic engagement is active participation by a student in an instructional activity such as attending class, submitting an assignment, participating and/or completing online activities, or one-on-one interactions with the instructor.

In this class, my primary tool for verifying academic engagement is the Engagement Verification Survey located in the Getting Started Module of our Canvas course. If you are having difficulty meeting this expectation, it is critical that you connect with me as soon as possible.
