[Research has shown that instructors can have a significant impact on how much students learn and how much they enjoy the course by expressing a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the course subject matter and the students’ ability to learn it. You may use this section of the syllabus to (a) add Course sub-outcomes, (b) explain the general relevance of the course content to your students’ personal and professional lives, and/or (c) list the specific benefits of taking the course.
