Program Description

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Applied Technology and Apprenticeship is offered as a partnership program between CWI's Workforce Development (WD) and Career and Technical Education (CTE) divisions. The program is specifically designed for students who have completed a registered apprenticeship in the Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing fields; it requires completion of apprenticeship classroom courses, on-the-job training hours, and a minimum of 15 credits of general education from CWI in accordance with Idaho State Board of Education requirements. This degree is available to anyone who meets the qualifications of an Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing apprenticeship and completes the required 15 credits of general education at CWI.
