Program Description

The Business program develops 21st century business professionals that are adaptable, ethical, problem-solvers who utilize networking and collaboration to achieve their career and business goals. The Business major curriculum is designed to result in an Associate of Arts degree and meets the general-education requirements at all Idaho public universities. This program is designed for students planning to transfer into a Business program at a four-year school. This includes students pursuing a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) track, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Information Technology Management (ITM), Entrepreneurship, or International Business, among others.

Due to varying transfer requirements of four-year business programs, students are strongly encouraged to visit with a CWI Business department advisor prior to choosing elective and general education core courses. Additionally, it is the student’s responsibility to know the requirements of the transfer institution to ensure that courses taken at CWI will fulfill requirements at the four-year institution.

CWI's Business program was granted initial accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in 2018.
