Campus Safety and Security

The College of Western Idaho (CWI) works to maintain a safe environment for students. Campus security officers are available during open campus hours to provide assistance and oversight of all campus events and functions. All crime reports are handled through Campus Safety and Security and the Nampa or Boise Police Departments. In accordance with statutory requirements of the Jeanne Clery Act, campus crime statistics are posted annually and can be viewed on the Campus and Security Reports web page.

The College of Western Idaho’s top priority is the safety of all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. CWI Alerts provides the CWI community with important information in the case of an emergency. When you enroll at CWI, your CWI-provided email address and your cell phone number are automatically entered into the CWI Alerts emergency notification system.

You will receive messages in the event of an actual emergency or an occasional system test. CWI Alerts may be used for important reminders (early registration, drop for non-payment, etc.).
