Tutoring Services
Tutoring Services levels the playing field for all students and elevates high achievers by providing content tutoring in subjects across the curriculum. You’ll find Tutoring Services integrated into the Learning Commons spaces at CWI, alongside the Library and the Writing & AI Literacy Center. All Learning Commons services are free to students, faculty, and staff.
Do you ever think you could have done better on that last exam? Do you wish you could turn your B into an A? Or are you worried about passing your classes at all? Tutors are here to help you achieve your academic goals, no matter what they are. Everyone can benefit from Tutoring Services, whether you are struggling with an assignment or just have a quick question.
Tutoring is available for many subjects including math, sciences, computer applications, business, American Sign Language, Spanish, study skills, and more, while specialty tutoring can be arranged for almost any subject. You might already have an Embedded or Linked Tutor in one or more of your classes.
What else does Tutoring offer?

- Computers and free printing are available to help you complete your assignments.
- Free academic skills workshops—covering topics like time management, improving memory, and note‑taking—can be offered within your classes during the semester; if you’d like one for your class, please reach out to your instructor.
