The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Applied Technology and Apprenticeship is designed for individuals who have completed a federally registered apprenticeship in a skilled trade and seek to enhance their credentials with a degree. This program integrates on-the-job industry training with academic coursework, equipping graduates with advanced technical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a competitive edge in the workforce. Eligible apprentices must provide verification of journeyman status and complete 15 credits of general education coursework at CWI to receive an AAS degree. This program is open to individuals from a variety of apprenticeship backgrounds, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and power-related trades, among others.
