Program Description
The Animal Veterinary Sciences major has a strong foundational basis in the sciences. The curriculum is designed to prepare students with interests in the following career areas:
- Agriculture production
- Animal health
- Veterinary medicine
- Veterinary technology
- Animal behavior
- Agriculture sustainability
- Agriculture extension
The program of study will prepare students for a wide range of agricultural occupations, as well as transfer to four-year universities and professional programs.
