Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Identify the fundamental concepts and principles of child development from birth to age eight.
- Describe healthy, safe, nurturing, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environments for young children of all abilities.
- Explain and demonstrate effective strategies and tools for curriculum including social, emotional, language, physical, and cognitive development in early education.
- Experience and evaluate various early childhood environments.
- Act as advocates for research based best practices in early childhood education.
